Postcards From Skiathos

Hey everybody!

Greece will always fascinate and attract me and thousands others (no matter what its economical status will be) and today I want to show you one reason why I love Greece: the Skiathos island.

I’ll let the photos mesmerize you. Please have in mind that reality is in this case even better than the photos. *wink

Skiathos is only at a couple of hours away by ferry from the continental Europe or if you prefer traveling by plane, it has its own tiny airport!

Once you get there, roam around its narrow and chic streets, eat local food (don’t even get me started on how good Greek food is), take as many photos as you like and simply enjoy the island’s beauty.  Take the path less traveled by the big Asian crowds. You’ll discover  some remote and genuine places that you’ll love!

If you have time, take a boat and go to   Koukounaries beach, one of the most beautiful Greek beaches, with silky soft sand  and clear waters.

                      One last tip: Don’t be discouraged by Greek’s current financial situation, it doesn’t impact the tourists. You’ll actually be able to enjoy a really nice vacation in one of the most beautiful and  gifted countries of Europe without worrying at all!
